RE: OFFSHORE CENTRAL TANO PETROLEUM AGREEMENT- LICENSE EXTENSION
I write in reference to various discussions and correspondences on the above subject matter,
particularly your letter dated 28th June, 2016, detailing how the obligations of AMNI
International Petroleum Development Company Limited (AMNI) have been impacted by the
Provisional Measures Orders of 25 April, 2015 by the International Tribunal of the Law of the
Sea (ITLOS) in the ongoing maritime boundary dispute between Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire, as
well as details of your proposed recovery plan with timelines.
After carefully considering your request, and in light of constraints imposed by the Provisional
Measures Orders, I hereby grant to AMNI, an extension of twenty one (21) months to the Initial
Exploration Period under the Offshore Central Tano Petroleum Agreement from 20 March,
2017 to 19 December, 2018.
It is my expectation that the grant of this extension will enable AMNI successfully execute its
remaining work obligations for the Initial Exploration Period under the Offshorp Ce(it^
